Pain
Head and neck cancer is painful. Usually surgery reduces the amount of pain. There are many different painkillers available to you sometimes used individually, often in combination. Occasionally there are otherway to help patients cope with pain.
Please bring the issue of pain - its nature, severity and frequency to a member of the team. It might be worth keeping a diary of the pain as this could help plan the best treatment.
