Merseyside Regional Head and Neck Cancer Centre
How will head or neck cancer affect my life

Information for professionals

General Medical and Dental Practitioners are often the first people to be consulted by patients with head and neck cancer. This section of our website seeks to assist general practitioners in deciding what constitiutes an urgent referrral and gives information about head and neck cancer and the urgent referral of patients to the unit. Use the links on the left to find the information you need.

We hope to produce an on-line decision making algorithm in due course to help practitioners to discriminate between common benign conditions and more serious oral presentations.

QOL Conference 2012

The 7th International Workshop will be held in Liverpool on Thursday 8th & Friday 9th November 2012. The workshop will be split into four sections; an overview of patient reported outcomes and concerns expressed in clinic, functional outcomes, psychological aspects and the patient and carer perspective.
