Merseyside Regional Head and Neck Cancer Centre
How will head or neck cancer affect my life

Head On 2011 - Fundraising Success

A very big thank you to everyone who attended the Head On 2011 event on Friday 14th October, which raised in excess of £5,000 in support of Merseyside patient and carer head and neck cancer research at Aintree University Hospital. This means the combined total raised over the last three years by 'Head On' is now a stunning £20,000.
The event was organised by Vince Killen, a former patient at Aintree, and this year included performances by Chegwin, The Mono LPs and Crowded Scouse.

Vince said: "Being treated for any type of cancer is such a massive thing to happen to you, so I wanted to say thank you to the great team at Aintree and to support the fantastic research work they do."

If you weren't able to join us on the night, there are now some great pictures of the event at!
